Disclosures
PixelCheck is free and always will be. This page explains exactly how it is funded, because a testing site has a special obligation to show its revenue cannot bend its verdicts.
1. Advertising
Pages may carry contextual advertising (for example Google AdSense). Ad networks pick the ads by page topic; advertisers cannot influence test behavior, guide content, or defect verdicts. A test page will never weight its results toward whoever pays.
2. Retail referral links
Guides may link to relevant products — a monitor guide may link to monitor listings, a calibration guide to calibration tools. Where a link earns a commission (typically Amazon Associates), the text says so next to the link. Commissions never change what the guides conclude: a product we warn against will not be quietly relinked for margin.
The line that matters
Every guide is written first and monetized second. If a future partner ever asks a guide to change its verdict, the partnership ends — that policy is the reason the testing is trustworthy, and it is not negotiable. Questions about any of this: hello@pixelcheck.app.
Launch-period note
As of launch, advertising may be limited while program applications are pending, and referral links appear only after program approval. This page updates whenever the funding mix changes.
