Terms of Use

PixelCheck terms illustration

PixelCheck provides free browser-based screen tests and reference guides for general informational use. By using the site you accept these terms.

No warranty

The tests and guides are provided "as is". They are built to be honest and are maintained in good faith, but display hardware varies enormously and we cannot guarantee a test result on every device, browser, or OS combination. Nothing on this site constitutes professional repair advice; panel-level hardware decisions are between you, your manufacturer, and your warranty document.

Test limitations you should know

Browser rendering is one layer above your panel: color management, OS night-light modes, GPU drivers, and HDR tone mapping can all alter what is drawn. The guides flag the important cases (judge bleed in a dark room; disable night-light before color tests), but a formal panel analysis needs hardware instruments — this site is the 15-minute version, not the lab version.

Acceptable use

Link freely, use freely for personal and commercial testing. Automated scraping, wholesale republishing, or wrapping the tools inside another product is not permitted without written agreement.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PixelCheck is not liable for decisions made from test results — including warranty disputes that go differently than the guides suggest. Questions: hello@pixelcheck.app.
