Privacy Policy
PixelCheck is a static site with an unusual privacy property: the tests themselves are the product, and they run entirely in your browser. When you judge a fullscreen of pure red, the judgment happens between the screen and your eyes — no camera, no capture, no upload. There is technically no way for the site to see what your screen shows.
What we do not collect
No names, emails, accounts, forms, screen recordings, screenshots, or test results. There is no server-side session to leak because there is nothing in it. The screen info tool reads your display configuration to show it to you — that data is rendered in your browser and never transmitted.
Third-party scripts
Like most websites, PixelCheck may load standard anonymous analytics and advertising scripts that set cookies and measure aggregate traffic. You can opt out of personalized advertising through browser settings or industry tools such as the DAA WebChoices. The test pages themselves work with scripts blocked; only this policy page and the homepage rely on anything beyond plain HTML and CSS to look right.
Children and classrooms
Screen testing is a common classroom activity. The site has no input fields a child could type into, no social features, and no data collection directed at anyone — which makes it a safe link to hand to a class.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the change will be described here in plain language before it takes effect. Questions: hello@pixelcheck.app.
